The Center is realized in order to carry out activity of applied search, technology transfer, formation of staff and supply of analytical services us for the certification in the agricultural and food- field, operating also in collaboration with other scientific Institutions Public (University, Agencies of search, etc) and private.
The fields of interest, aiming to the valorization of the agricultural productions, are:
- Cold storage, packaging, transportation of fresh fruits and vegetables for improving the product quality;
- Processing of the vegetables with the development of mild technologies;
- Research on interactions among environment, agricultural production, food processing and human health;
- Quality control;
- Training for medium and upper managers for agricultural firm organization.
