Brief History
Bonomo Research Station is a provincial centre for research and experimentation on agriculture.
It was established in the early in the early 80's and was funded by public financial resources (ex Extraordinary Intervention for Mezzogiorno - art. 8 L. N° 183/76 and
Cipe resolution of 20/7/79) for the will of the Public Administration of Bari in collaboration with the
University of Bari.
CRB is a cooperative that has scientific, operational and financial autonomy.
Its distinguishing mark is the multireferentiality understood as technical and planning support for users.
The Bonomo agricultural research station is situated less than a kilometer down road SS-170 from Castel Del Monte, Andria (Ba). It is immersed in a big park and comprises three building areas (laboratories, offices and services)

Members
CRB is a cooperative between public and private non-profit-making company.
The cooperative is made of the following members:
- Provincial Administration of Bari;
- University of Bari;
- University of Lecce;
- Association "International Biomedical Institute" of Bari;
- The Bonomo Family;
- The North-West Murgia Barese Mountain Community, Corato.
